Shang Yu Design × Serpentine Stone Interior Project

In this project, Shang Yu Design places serpentine stone at the heart of the interior, using its deep green tones and naturally flowing white veining to anchor the space with a calm yet expressive character.

In the kitchen and dining area, a full-height serpentine backsplash pairs with matte metal finishes, warm wood panels, and soft linear lighting, creating a balanced rhythm of textures. The living room’s feature wall extends this language—large stone slabs frame the TV, highlighting the raw beauty and structure of the material while giving the room a strong visual focus.

The bedroom and study continue the clean, linear design approach, with serpentine stone subtly integrated into key surfaces and transitions. Rather than overpowering the space, the stone blends naturally into the daily environment, adding quiet elegance and consistency throughout the home.

Through precise material pairing and a thoughtful sense of proportion, Shang Yu Design allows serpentine stone to shine as both a functional and aesthetic foundation—resulting in a modern, serene, and finely detailed living experience.
